Mr. Chowdhury is the founder of the firm M I Chowdhury & Co., Chartered Accountants. Started practice in the year 1985. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the year 1980 thereafter he conducted various consultancy, training and audit on behalf of SF Ahmed & Co. prior to starting his own firm.

On behalf of this firm he has conducted huge number of audit and training assignments for the development projects of Bangladesh Govt. financed by various Donor Agencies. Few names are given below:
• Imparted training on Audit Procedure & Quality Assurance and Technical Report Writing Capacity in Audit to 200 GoB Officials of the Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh (USAID-PROGATI Project).
• National Survey of Textile Sector, Up-date Database/MIS & Assess the Requirement of Textile Technologists in Different Levels and to impart training on reporting of management information system to officials of Directorate of Textile, GOB.
• Preparation of Risk Based Audit Manual and Financial Management manual (Jointly with S.F. Ahmed & Co.). One of the component was to impart training on Risk Based Audit methodology and reporting technique and financial management system to officials of Bangladesh Bank.
• Performance Audit of the Female Secondary School Assistance Project FSSAP-II, IDA Credit No. 3614-BD, Project Cost: Tk. 7,662.67 million. One of the components was to impart training on Performance audit methodology and report to officials of FSSAP-II.

He has served and continues to serve on the boards of various organizations and has been continuously involved in developmental and philanthropic activities throughout his career.

He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the year 1979 thereafter he served in Govt. organizations as head of finance. Lastly he served in Dhaka Electric Supply Authority (DESA) as member Finance. He has vast experience in the financial management system of Govt. organizations.

He joined M I Chowdhury & Co. as Senior Partner in the year 2011.

Salim Ullah Bahadur FCA

Mr. Salim Ullah Bahadur is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He has a service experience of 37 years in different local, semi govt. and multinational companies. Out of his total service he served in BEPZA for about 09 years and 19 years in Grameen Knitwear Ltd. Lastly, he served in Grameen Knitwear Ltd. (GKL) as CFO & Company Secretary. He has vast experience in corporate Finance, Company Law matter, VAT and Taxation.

Mr. Sajeed Iqbal Chowdhury ACA

Mr. Sajeed Iqbal Chowdhury is an Associate Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). After completion of CA article-ship with M I Chowdhury & Co. Chartered Accountants he worked here for four years as Manager Audit. After qualifying as CA, he had was given responsibility as Director-Audit & Consulting. He became Partner in the year 2022.

Engr. Khawaja Muyeenuddin

Technical & Development Project Evaluation Expert

Mr. Khawaja Muyeenuddin graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 1970 from Rajshahi Engineering College under University of Rajshahi. He joined Bangladesh Air force and retired as Squadron Leader.

He joined M I Chowdhury & Co in the year 2004 as Consultant and since then he has been involved in various consultancy works.

Md. Yousuf Reza

Director

Md. Yousuf Reza successfully completed Chartered Accountants Course from M I Chowdhury & Co. under Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh. Besides, he completed a Post-Graduation Diploma in Development Planning, Master of Business Studies along with Bachelor of Business Studies in Management. After completion of Article ship he joined M I Chowdhury & Co. as Audit Manager. He has vast experience in conducting audit of NGOs, private companies and international development projects.
